Foster Application

    Thank you for choosing to foster a pet.  This application will help us determine if being a foster is in the best interest of both you and the animal.  Answer each question truthfully.   Any false information will result in the disapproval of this application.

    In order to be considered to foster a pet, you must:

    1. Be at least 18 years old.
    2. Have picture identification with your current address.
    3. Have the knowledge and consent of all members of your household.
    4. Be willing to spend the time and money to provide your foster pet with all his/her needs.
    5. Agree to home visits by the Forgotten Friends Texas Rescue.
    6. Understand that Forgotten Friends Texas Rescue may deny or approve your application.

  • Will you allow your pet to be indoors, as all family members should be?
    While a pet (dog) will spend time outdoors, your pet should be kept indoors during the night, extreme heat/cold and any times where the safety of your pet calls for him to be indoors. While outdoors, your pet must have adequate shade and water, and proper fencing to ensure he stays safely in your yard.

  • If your foster animal becomes ill during your care, you are required to call Christine at 605-7004 immediately. Our funds are limited and most medications can be provided by our team. We understand that in some cases a Veterinarian might be needed, but you are required to contact Christine for approval.
