Transport

In the spring of 2013 we received a Grant from Petco to help purchase a vehicle for our “A Leg Up” Animal Transport.  With the funds we were only able to purchase a used vehicle and we have been investing a lot of money in the maintenance of this vehicle.  We still need help to keep us on the road.

We also received a Grant from the ASPCA to help with the “A Leg Up” Animal Transport.  The funds are to be used for the cost of gas, meals and lodging for the transporters and medical health certificates.

Since June we have transported 70 animals out of the area with commitments for Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec.  We are always looking for reliable drivers to take these animals to other states like Colorado, Illinois and Mich.  If you would like to volunteer to help call Forgotten Friends Texas Rescue RGV on 956 605-7004.
